Important Information About Our Draft Process:

As our registration for the 2019-2020 season is ramping up, we'd like to take a moment to remind all parents and players that we cannot accommodate requests to tie players together for any reason (siblings and step-siblings excepted). Our Player Draft process has evolved over the past few years and has become much more complex to ensure, as much as we can at the beginning of the season, that teams are balanced. In order to continue to deliver a fair and equitable program, we at the CRHL must maintain the integrity of our Draft process, and will not be allowing players to be selected onto teams together.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to players and their families, and thank everyone in advance for their understanding. If you suspect you may have difficulty getting your player to practices and games, please notify your coach as soon as you have been contacted in September. Your coach will be able to assist you in finding alternate arrangements.

Prior to Registration

The OMHA Requires Birth Certificates for all players NEW to the Clarington Recreational Hockey League.

If you are registering a new player, you must provide a copy of the birth certificate to the office to attach to the player's hockey profile. You can drop a copy off into the office, bring it in when you register in person, or contact the office for other options.

Prior to registration, the OMHA requires the Respect in Sport Parent Program. Please see below for more details.

Respect in Sport – Parent Program

There is a mandatory requirement put forward by the Ontario Minor Hockey Association that says a representative from the family such as a parent, grandparent, or guardian, must take an on-line course before any players in the family can be registered for play in the upcoming season.  This course is called Respect in Sport – Parent Program.

Important notice about Jersey sizes – The CRHL orders jersey sizes based on the average size of children in a particular age group/division. The league cannot be responsible for costs associated with either ordering another size or altering the size of the issued jersey for each player. These extra costs are the responsibility of parents.
